What is an adventure elopement?
To define an adventure elopement, let's first define an elopement.
Elopement: An intentional experience to celebrate the love between two people in a non-traditional wedding where the couple chooses what they want to do instead of adhering to someone else's wishes
Adventure elopement: Take the definition of an elopement up one notch, or two, or more. This is more than your courthouse elopement. This is taking your intimate wedding outside and experiencing the world. You can choose to hike or backpack in the social media sense of an adventure. But you can also choose a chill or extreme adventure, such as picnic on the beach or taking a helicopter ride to say your vows on top of a mountain.

This past July my wife and I esloped at Timberline Ski resort on Mt. Hood. Cherlyn captured our first turns as a couple and our group shredding the gnar, all while laying down serious turns herself and facilitating a joyful atmosphere. Afterwards we held a longer ceremony at nearby Trillium lake, and Cherlyn effortlessly transitioned into forest photographer for more traditional pictures. We finished the day with a couples photoshoot at Timberline Meadows, which Cherlyn crushed while making us smile the whole time.

I scout every trail and do my own research to make sure that I recommend only the best locations for you. My outdoor background includes mountaineering, backpacking and skiing with training in Wilderness First Aid + CPR so I know a thing or two when it comes to spending time outside. I'm a huge trip planning nerd too so I'll make sure your timeline and other preparations are set before you even arrive at your elopement destination. Let's make this stress-free & breezy!
Your photos will be the way you can remember the emotions and experience you felt on your elopement day for the rest of your life. So I do not take my job lightly. I'm someone who can tell your full elopement story from start to finish AND create amazing art that you can be proud of.
