For the adventurous souls, we can catch that gorgeous sunset and sunrise for those intimate moments whether staying in a cabin or backpacking. Let’s plan the adventure that’ll showcase your love! Overnight, 12+ hours

From dawn to dusk, I’ll capture your special day, the little moments and the adventure itself. I’ll help you run everything smoothly from picking out the location to all the logistics involved. 8+ hrs

Whether you’ve got a location in mind or open to options, and if you want to hike to an epic mountainside or take a sunset stroll along a beach, I will plan with you and be there to capture your adventure, vows, and everything in between! 6+ hrs

For all elopement packages, travel is included for destinations within a 4 hour drive from Seattle, WA.
For engagement and adventure packages (less than half day), travel is included for destinations within a 2 hour drive from Seattle, WA. For family photos, travel is included for within a one hour drive from Seattle.

How To Elope

Deciding to Elope

Congrats on choosing to elope! If you’re down for an adventure, I think we’ll be a great fit! Begin by contacting me to get the ball rolling, and I’ll be walking with you every step of the way from the first email or phone call to the adventure session. I’ll help you brainstorm locations and even the small details like planning the schedule. Plus if you want to go outside the country, I’ve got lots of experience in planning trips from backpacking to adventures abroad!

The Date

We’ll set the date, and a backup date if weather is absolutely a no-go, but generally we can still adventure rain or shine!

For shorter sessions, experiencing a sunrise or sunset is truly magical, when the sky is lit with a million colors, that sense of awe and wonder really brings together the intimacy of your relationship
For full day experiences, there’s no need to feel rushed, everything can take place when the moment feels right for you. We can plan from sunrise throughout the day and even into sunset for a small reception!
For multi-day trips, backpacking is a great way to spend quality time outdoors with your beloved. We can catch both sunrise and sunset, camp at an amazing viewpoint or even sleep in a lookout

The Location

Pick the location – maybe you have one in mind or maybe we can work together to figure out the best place for you
This may be planned concurrently with the date. Do you want fall colors in the mountains? Or a snowy winter wonderland in December? Or maybe a summer backpacking trip to a remote location? There’s endless options to choose from!
Local: Currently, I am based in Washington, but we can also talk about options outside PNW – I particularly love the red-hued canyons in the Southwest (Utah/Arizona) and have road tripped and traveled all over the country
International: As an avid traveler, I’d love to go abroad with you as well! One of the most picturesque locations I believe is the Italian Dolomites
Some ideas:
Hiking to the most gorgeous alpine lake or incredible waterfall or jaw-dropping mountain backdrop
Backpacking to a meadow looking up the basin of a mountain range
Rock climbing to a spire to tie the knot (literally and figuratively!) with your best adventure friend
Staying at a lookout so you have a base location to rest
Getting ready at an A-Frame house before a hike or for a small reception
Mountaineering to say your vows on top of a volcano
Backcountry skiing to break the wintry blues with that perfect calm snowy backdrop
Driving to the beach and watching the sun set over the water with that warm glow behind you

The Planning

Plan the adventure – with the location and date set, I can help you hash out all the little details and we’ll create a final itinerary for the day(s), what to expect, what to bring, etc…

Permits/passes other paperwork
Logistics for how to get there
Finding the perfect dress or suit
Adding the small things that make it special, like floral arrangements, catering, cake…
Planning for guests

The Adventure

The big day: adventure and photoshoot! I’ll make sure everything runs smoothly, from making sure flowers are in order, clothes are well packed, etc… And by the end, you’ll come back smiling from that amazing adventure!

Afterwards

You’ll get the full edited online gallery…

For shorter photoshoots (i.e. engagements), I’ll get the pictures back to you within 3-4 weeks
For longer photoshoots (i.e. elopements), expect a lead time of 6-8 weeks

START PLANNING

Disclaimer: I am not a professional mountain guide, but I have lots of mountain experience from climbing to mountaineering and will be able to be there to take photographs. So, if you also have experience, that’s great! If not, for liability reasons, I’d suggest hiring a professional guide to come with us or a choosing a different activity. Regardless, we’ll still have a spectacular time!
