Hello, I am Cherlyn!
I’m a Mount Rainier Elopement Photographer and you’re looking at the right person for your Mount Rainier elopement, whether you’re looking simply for an epic mountain backdrop or if you want to hike or mountaineer to your ceremony location. I grew up in Washington and love everything about the outdoors here, especially the mountains like North Cascades and Mt Rainier! It has a special place in my heart for all the epic views it’s got. After all, it’s nicknamed the American Alps for a good reason!
I love capturing the special moments in the mountains. I love experiencing sunrises and sunsets that make the short nights oh so worth it. I love to see the joy on my couples’ faces when they are in their happy place with their favorite people (or person!). And I am so stoked that you’re checking out my page! What can you do during your Mount Rainier elopement?
Well the most obvious one: hiking! From moody forests to rainbow wildflowers, getting ready at a cute A-frame airbnb to watching sunrise with your love. But there’s plenty more you can do such as:

Where to elope at Mount Rainier?
Where do we even start??? Well, it depends on if an activity is important to you or views and the time of year! But here’s my personal short list of places with epic views:

- Sunrise and Burroughs Mountain
- Panorama Point

When to elope at Mount Rainer?
This depends on what you want to do! Generally, summer time, July-September is the best time for the sunniest weather. Even up to early July, some of the higher elevation trails would still be filled with snow and October, the weather gets much colder and snowier. If you’re looking for wildflowers, late July to early August is prime season. September is also great for cooler temperatures and glorious red fall colors. For a good portion of winter, many entrances to the National Park are inaccessible by car, but there’s still so many snowshoe and backcountry ski options!
