Mount Rainier Elopement Photographer
for the adventurous souls
You’re looking into your beau’s eyes, you’re overflowing with love, the sun is just about to set over fiery horizon, Mt Rainier is glowing in dazzling pink, you glance around at the incredible scenery and it takes your breath away, you’re dressed to the nines and not a drop of sweat could betray the fact it took some work to get here, you’re eating your charcuterie picnic and cheers-ing champagne with your beloved, your soul is set on fire for sharing this moment together, you’re officially married and you just had the best day of your lives. You’re thinking this isn’t real.
But this could be yours, it could be real! Let’s make this happen!
Hello, I am Cherlyn!
I’m a Mount Rainier Elopement Photographer and you’re looking at the right person for your Mount Rainier elopement, whether you’re looking simply for an epic mountain backdrop or if you want to hike or mountaineer to your ceremony location. I grew up in Washington and love everything about the outdoors here, especially the mountains like North Cascades and Mt Rainier! It has a special place in my heart for all the epic views it’s got. After all, it’s nicknamed the American Alps for a good reason!
I love capturing the special moments in the mountains. I love experiencing sunrises and sunsets that make the short nights oh so worth it. I love to see the joy on my couples’ faces when they are in their happy place with their favorite people (or person!). And I am so stoked that you’re checking out my page! Elopements are all about you and I’d love to capture your special day when you tie the knot (or even just for an adventure session). No fuss, just you and nature, what would be better than that? And my friends, I can’t wait to meet you and hopefully go on an adventure with you too!
What can you do during your Mount Rainier elopement?
Well the most obvious one: hiking! From moody forests to rainbow wildflowers, getting ready at a cute A-frame airbnb to watching sunrise with your love. But there’s plenty more you can do such as:
- Paddle boarding
- Lake-side picnic
- Backcountry skiing
Where to elope at Mount Rainier?
Where do we even start??? Well, it depends on if an activity is important to you or views and the time of year! But here’s my personal short list of places with epic views:
- Tipsoo Lake
- Naches Peak
- Fremont Lookout
- Tolmie Peak Lookout
- Spray Park
- Sunrise and Burroughs Mountain
- Panorama Point
- Myrtle Falls
- Pinnacle Peak
- Reflection Lake
- Camp Muir
- Tatoosh Mountains
- Crystal Mountain
When to elope at Mount Rainer?
This depends on what you want to do! Generally, summer time, July-September is the best time for the sunniest weather. Even up to early July, some of the higher elevation trails would still be filled with snow and October, the weather gets much colder and snowier. If you’re looking for wildflowers, late July to early August is prime season. September is also great for cooler temperatures and glorious red fall colors. For a good portion of winter, many entrances to the National Park are inaccessible by car, but there’s still so many snowshoe and backcountry ski options!
I can’t wait to get to know you!! The first step is filling out the contact form and I’ll reach out to set up an informal chat with the both of you so we can start a vision board and begin to piece together the puzzle that is elopement planning. I’ll be your right-hand gal, whether you need help finding more vendors or figuring out the small details. I’ll be your main hype woman the day of, making sure that everything runs smooth and capturing the best day of your lives!!! Are you ready for this?
Are you ready? Let’s do this!
