Hello, I am Cherlyn!

I’m a Mount Baker Elopement Photographer and you’re looking at the right person for your Mount Baker elopement, whether you’re looking simply for an epic mountain backdrop or if you want to hike or mountaineer to your ceremony location. I grew up in Washington and love everything about the outdoors here, especially the North Cascades and Mt Baker! It has a special place in my heart for all the epic views it’s got. After all, it’s nicknamed the American Alps for a good reason!

I love capturing the special moments in the mountains. I love experiencing sunrises and sunsets that make the short nights oh so worth it. I love to see the joy on my couples’ faces when they are in their happy place with their favorite people (or person!). And I am so stoked that you’re checking out my page! Elopements are all about you and I’d love to capture your special day when you tie the knot (or even just for an adventure session). No fuss, just you and nature, what would be better than that? What can you do during your Mount Baker elopement?

Well the most obvious one: hiking! But there’s plenty more you can do such as:

Where to elope at Mount Baker?

Where do we even start??? Well, it depends on if an activity is important to you or views and the time of year! But here’s my personal short list of places with epic views:

When to elope at Mount Baker?

This depends on what you want to do! Generally, summer time, July-September is the best time for the sunniest weather. June would still be filled with snow and October, the weather gets much colder and snowier. If you’re looking for wildflowers, July is prime season. September is also great for cooler temperatures and glorious red fall colors. For a good portion of winter, many forest roads are inaccessible by car, but doesn’t that you couldn’t snowshoe, backcountry ski, or even snowmobile to your destination!
